Guy Richards Smit realiza vídeos, acuarelas y escribe canciones para su banda Maxi Geil and Playcolt Ha exhibido sus obras con la galeria FRED [London], en el stand de Arco Art Fair (Madrid) y en museos como: Indiana Museum of Contemporary Art (Indianapolis, USA), Museum of Modern Art (New York), G-Module (Paris), Aeroplastics (Brussels, Belgium), el MOMA Media Scope, Museum of Modern Art (New York.) Ha recibido becas de creación como el MAT Charitable Foundation Grant en el 2003 y el Penny McCall Foundation Grant.
