This part of the project “Unmonumental” shows the work of a group of fourteen international artists, including: Nina Katchadourian, John Michael Boling, William Boling, Charles Brokoski, Jessica Ciocci, Petra Cortright, Chris Coy, Cao Fei, Kenneth Huna, Olivier Laric, Olia Lialina, Guthrie Lonergan and Paul Slocum). These artists have taken various items from the Web to create a montage based on the Internet. Copying and pasting, breaking up and joining together again, remixing. The artists taking part extend the radical practice of collage to the Internet, showing how techniques that have already been used can create new and fertile artistic practices. Their work includes various forms: digital images, sound, video and even fictions and fantasies found on-line..
