In 1999 Galeria Llucià Homs opened its space in Consell de Cent, the heart of Barcelona's art galleries. The gallery articulates its own artistic discourse based on a rigorous and eclectic line. We work with a dozen of young artists, both international and Spanish, exhibiting their work regularly, attending international art fairs with them, as well as promoting them in institutional shows.

Being aware that new artistic trends cannot be limited to any particular technique and that contemporary art interacts with other disciplines that were considered foreign in the past; the projects we present in our gallery pass trough a diversity of languages ranging from painting or drawing to video and new media. Beyond its commercial activity, the gallery provides professional criteria and guides its artists' creations by clearly committing to the proposals presented, thus contributing to establish the basis of an art of the present time and supplying the essential tools to contextualize it and make it more comprehensible.
