Bulgaria, 1964
1994-2000 Ha estudiado en la Universität der Künste en Berlín, Alemania, lugar donde vive y trabaja. Mariana Vassileva transforma la naturaleza muerta y el movimiento de la representación visual de una nueva armonía enérgica. La artista no está interesada en el acto físico del movimiento, sino en el proceso mental que se desarrolla en ello. De manera sutil, transforma objetos, situaciones, modales y los presenta en otro contexto a un nivel lírico. El espectador comienza a apreciar el trabajo gracias al movimiento emocional en este mundo representado de manera extraña. En este proceso, él es animado hacia una sensibilidad perceptiva aumentada de diversas situaciones cotidianas.
